Outside of Boston, a Haitian immigrant teaches a weekly dance class with live music played by Haitian musicians. Jean Appolon, the teacher, sees the class as a way of preserving the dance and music of his homeland. With the same energy and passion, Appolon goes back to Haiti every summer to teach dance to young Haitians in need.
